In order to secure a role as Etihad Cabin Crew, you will need to fit a number of requirements and succeed in the recruitment process. In this post, I’m going to explain what these are and how you can become Etihad Cabin Crew!

Etihad Cabin Crew requirements
Before you make an application to become Etihad Cabin Crew, you need to make sure that you fit all of their requirements. If you don’t, then your application won’t be successful, so it is crucial that you double check what the airline you are applying for are looking for specifically.
To become Etihad Cabin Crew, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Have an
armreach of 212 cm (while standing on tip toes).
- Be a high school graduate (Grade 12).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- No visible tattoos while in uniform

Making an online application
If you meet all of the requirements, you can make an application online on their careers website. To make an application you will need to create an account on their website and then submit a number of documents.
- An updated version of your CV.
- A cover letter.
- One full-length photograph and one passport sized photograph.
- A short essay on your dream holiday destination.
If your online application meets Etihad’s requirements, an online evaluation will pass your application on to a recruiter to be reviewed. If the recruiter is impressed by your application, you will be invited to attend an assessment day. If you are invited, you will be able to choose a date and location for your assessment day.
You will need to bring the following documents with you to your assessment day:
- Completed registration form.
- Completed introductory form.
- Current CV.
- 5 coloured photocopies of your passport.
- 1 copy of your highest educational certificate.
- 1 current and 1 previous employer service letter.
- pre-employment medical examination form.
- 1 coloured full length photo and 4 coloured passport photos.
What happens at the assessment day
At the start of the assessment day you will need to sign in and hand the required documents to the recruiters. You will then take part in a short, informal interview so that the recruiters can get to know you better. You will then be given a short presentation about what will happen during the day and any important information you need.
The next part of the day involves an English test and written exercise. After this you are then required to participate in a speaking and listening exercise. Both are designed to assess your fluency and understanding of English, as you are required to be fluent both in your writing and speaking.
This is followed by a presentation about life in Abu Dhabi and life working as Etihad Cabin Crew in general. After this, there is a round of eliminations, only those who are successful proceed to the next round.
The next round involves group activities where the recruiters will assess how well you communicate and work in a team. There is then another round of eliminations, followed by the final interview.
The final interview lasts for around 20 minutes and is 2 on 1. You will be asked a number of questions about why you want to be a flight attendant and work for Etihad.
If you are successful in the final interview then you will receive an email to let you know, and you will official be on your journey in becoming Etihad Cabin Crew!
