The application will also ask you for some more personal details, such as your qualifications and languages. Once you have submitted your online application, you should receive an email confirmation.
If your online application is successful, you will be invited to participate in a digital interview. You will be sent instructions from Cathay Pacific about the process and software used, so you can familiarise and prepare yourself beforehand. Although it takes place online, you should still prepare for it as if it is a real interview. This means you should still research the airline thoroughly beforehand, and you should present yourself as if you were meeting the airline in person.
During this interview, you will be asked a number of questions about your previous experience and why you want to become Cathay Pacific Cabin Crew.
If you pass the digital interview, you will be invited to attend an assessment day where your language abilities will be assessed. This will involve you demonstrating your ability to speak both English and one of the other required languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Tagalog or Korean).
You may also be asked to participate in a number of other common assessment day activities, such as scenario-based role play and group tasks.
Once you’ve successfully passed the initial interview and language assessments, you will be invited to attend a final, face-to-face interview. This is your final opportunity to prove that you have what it takes to become Cathay Pacific Cabin Crew.
